Report

Started in 2007 Kelsey Cain broke from the loud abrasive bands he to was in (Gratis and later L'Shem) to start a project inspired by the cinematic horror movie scores and the 70's and 80's. Kelsey began working closely with director Mitch Massie for scoring music the movie The Anathema Report. The music created a bleak world of dynamic compositions, melancholy analog synths, complex and harsh noise pieces, broken electronics, industrial percussion, and electronic pulses A band was formed featuring members of Gratis to perform the music from that soundtrack at the movie's initial showing. A few other live performances were done as well as scoring of another movie The Hymnographer. From there Report slowly evolved into a newer project called Noctimania.
